September 11th, 2008: The Large Hadron Collider at CERN turned on today and it worked! It's really exciting - it's the world's biggest machine and the world's biggest science experiment, and it didn't even destory the planet. Nice!

My excitement at seeing this on the news was just about quadrupled when CERN physicist Kristen sent me these amazing pictures of her inside the LHC. Professor Science has been inside the LHC! So awesome. Thank you Kristen! You made my day.

I'm writing a book and there's only a few days left to get it! It's called William Shakespeare Punches A Friggin' Shark and it's a choose-your-own path SHAKESPEARE ADVENTURE. And it's being illustrated by 100% amazing people!!

One year ago today: now that my comic's done, i think i'll have a celebratory shower! i'm just kidding. i shower every day, ladies!
