RECOMMEND T-REX TO... THE INTERNET:
What are the haps my friends

March 15th, 2007: Hey guys, Free Comic Book Day is coming up on May 5th! This is the day when you can walk into any comic book store and they will have a selection of free comics for you to take and read and have forever and also push on your non-comics-reading friends. Last year one of the stand-out books (along with Andy Runton's Owly story which you can read here, and Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim story which you can read here) was Comics Festival, which had a bunch of comics by a bunch of different creators and this year I am in the Comics Festival book! You can see the line-up here - it looks like it's gonna be a great book filled with great comics and I am flattered to have snuck in. You should totally pick one up in May. THERE ARE BRAND NEW COMICS IN THERE. If you want to make sure your local store carries it, the order code is FEB070041.

Finally, holy cow, we've got 781 members on the Dino Comics distributed computing team, which makes us the 16th biggest team on the network, and we've done 5 years of worth of disease-curing computing since last week. That is pretty incredible. If you'd like to join AND let your computer do useful work for humanity in its spare time, you can do so here. Brian emailed me to say that this is basically like Progress Quest, only you get to help cure AIDS at the same time. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME.

YOU LIKE TO READ: Probably, huh? Well GOOD NEWS: my book To Be or Not To Be (choose-your-own-path Hamlet!) is in the new Humble eBooks Bundle! Up to FIFTEEN books at a pay-what-you-want price, plus you support charity (and artists)! Definitely worth checking out, if you ask me.

NEW SHIRTS: As you may have noticed, I've spent the past all this year coming up with a new shirt design every month. Then I sold them for two weeks only! But now they're BACK... for two weeks only. Check them out! There are some PRETTY FRIGGIN' AWESOME shirts here. There's also a new one about dating, kinda?

One year ago today: t-rex bases his stories off of people he knows. tiny chef is basically a Morris The Bug culinary / competency fantasy sequence. he wrote it to cheer the li'l guy up!
