What are the haps my friends
January 23rd, 2009: And thanks to everyone who let me know (re: yesterday's comic) that Jonathan Lethem carried through the idea of plagiarizing an essay praising plagiarism in 2007 with his essay called "The ecstasy of influence". It's very well done!

UPDATE: Aha! Dave Shechner was kind enough to let me know the article I'd referenced in the title text was in fact HIS, and is available right here. I recommend it!
