I'm sure you've heard about the earthquake that affected Haiti, the poorest nation in the western hemisphere. It's done a lot of damage too, and thousands have lost their lives, while thousands more have lost their homes and need shelter.

I'd encourage you to make a donation to organizations that can help! MercyCorps is doing good work, as is the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, Partners in Health, as well as tons more other organizations: you can probably think of a few. Please donate some money if you can!
