i looked up salt mining, being all "is it REALLY as bad as rhetorical sayings suggest?" and long story short salt is a desiccant and if you're underground mining it, it gets inside you and DESICCATES YOUR LUNGS

The haps: ECCC was amazing! The best part was meeting Dinosaur Comics readers, especially the several (!!) who came by after reading the comics for a decade or more. IT WAS AMAZING. I hope I can come back some time, thank you all for being so great!
