The haps: Dinosaur Comics is four years old today! I put the first comic up on February 1st, 2003. That is insane and awesome and I can't thank you guys enough for supporting me. Here's something I like to link to February 1st: the first Dinosaur Comic I ever did, before GOING BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD. Things to notice:
  • there is a different panel layout
  • Utahraptor looks like a frog?
  • T-Rex looks evil
  • there is a spelling mistake
  • It took me 8/10ths of a comic for me to realize how terrible this layout was
It is a window into an alternate, crappier universe. Thanks for reading my comics for four years now, everyone!

Also whoah, check this out! My friend Posterchild made a giant T-Rex stepping on a tiny woman stencil! That is extremely excellent. Thanks Post!

FINALLY, you probably heard about the Mooninite thing, which echos the Mario blocks thing that Post and I were involved in last year. I will say that what I find most frustrating is the police and media's labelling of events like these: calling them "hoaxes" or "pranks" when they're neither, they're ads and art, respectively.
