T-Rex: Okay, NEW RULE: if you do something knowing it's a dick move, but that you'll EVENTUALLY be forgiven by the person you're being a jerk to, then you have voluntarily given up your chance at forgiveness!
T-Rex: Yes it is definitely a great idea to live by harsh and unbending rulesets!
T-Rex: And THIS rule fixes the thing where folks expect forgiveness, so they act like it's guaranteed. Because even if you trip me on purpose, knowing that I'm not gonna hold it against you for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, that doesn't mean you should do it anyway!
