T-Rex: Sherlock Holmes, who had just deduced he was the world's greatest detective, frowned deductively.
T-Rex: What if deduction - didn't work??
T-Rex: Sherlock considered Hume's example of how Detective Chicken might observe a farmer entering her coop every day to feed her. She therefore deduces, from all available evidence, that today the farmer is going to feed her too - but instead, he cuts her up and fries up her parts!!
Utahraptor: Detective Chicken is a chicken?
T-Rex: Yes! I could not have made that more clear.
Utahraptor: Okay, but if Detective Chicken had more information, then she COULD'VE deduced she was being raised as food.
T-Rex: But the world NEVER gives perfect information! There's always gaps and omissions. Unless you're God, any deduction MUST be limited - and thus fallible!
God: WELL T-REX I'M GOD AND I MESS UP MY DEDUCTIONS ALL THE TIME
T-Rex: What?! You're supposed to be infallible!
God: OKAY SO LIKE
God: THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME FEEL ANY BETTER ABOUT IT
