T-Rex: Oh, frig! Are my eyes kind?
T-Rex: I always wanted to have kind eyes but I totally forgot to put the work in!!
Dromiceiomimus: I think it's just metaphorical, T-Rex: a way to describe your general mien such that -
T-Rex: NO! It's LITERAL and it's BIOLOGICAL. The luckiest of us are born with kind eyes, but a few - born with neutral eyes - can at least make them appear kind through a lifetime of looking kindly at things.
Utahraptor: And those born with angry eyes?
T-Rex: For them there is no hope.
T-Rex: They cannot have kind eyes, BUT they can have kind arms, kind bellies. Perhaps a bosom that radiates kindness in some way; these things are not for me to say. I know only of eyes, but by forgetting to look kindly for the past decades my only chance is squandered; my only hope, extinguished.
Off panel: Well, I think you've got kind teeth.
T-Rex: <3
T-Rex: Oh my gosh, thank youuuuu
