What are the haps my friends

January 16th, 2008: Rich pointed me to Lasagna Cat, which takes Garfield comics, re-enacts them, shows the original comics, and then riffs on the re-enactment. All the episodes end with the same portrait of Jim Davis. I like it! It can sometimes veer into "weird for weird's sake", but it does set its own rhythm and it works really well. This coupled with comics with Garfield's dialogue removed and the Garfield randomizer makes me begin to suspect that Garfield might be, in a few decades and against all odds, the inspiration for a fair chunk of popular culture.

One year ago today: everyone throwing their hands up in the air at work - don't worry! i won't get you fired. YOU CAN'T GET FIRED FOR BEING AWESOME!
