T-Rex: Before us there were different dominant species, but one day: BAM! MASS EXTINCTIONS. Most everyone died and it was real sad but eventually new life evolved and here we are!!

T-Rex: Almost certainly!
T-Rex: NOT, that is. Almost certainly NOT. Sorry if I said that weird. It's just we've already had FOUR different global extinction events on ONE little planet, which by any fair reading indicates we've had MUCH more than our fair share. Therefore science and history both say we're good.
Off panel: I'm not sure that's right.
T-Rex: And I'M sure these good times of not being dead will NEVER END and I'm also very sure I don't want to interrogate that line of reasoning further!!
