T-Rex: Sometimes sitting around and doing nothing is all it takes to make me happy!
T-Rex: And other times, doing something productive does the trick!
T-Rex: So uh, turns out happiness is so fleeting that doing the exact same thing at different times won't get you the same results. You can literally discover what makes you happy, but it turns out you can't do that forever, because it'll stop making you happy and then you're back to square one.
T-Rex: Existence, man. I don't know what to tell you.
Utahraptor: That's good though!
Utahraptor: If something made us happy indefinitely, we'd just do that over and over and never progress. It is THROUGH our suffering - our restless, futile, endless search for fleeting happiness - that we discover new things, new ideas, new ways of being.
Off panel: And if we'd chosen otherwise we would've never created civilization, because we'd ALL be just sitting around having sex, eating, and sleeping 24/7.
T-Rex: Wait wait wait, hold up.
T-Rex: THAT WAS AN OPTION??
