T-Rex: I made a recipe for a cake and it didn't come out good. Turns out, the recipe was missing a critical first step:
T-Rex: Step one: be good at this!!
Dromiceiomimus: Feels like that's implied in most recipes, huh?
T-Rex: EVERYONE ASSUMES I'M GOOD AT THINGS, Dromiceiomimus! But I'm not! I'm bad at a ton of stuff, you'll see!!
Dromiceiomimus: Aw, T-Rex! I'm sure not EVERYONE assumes that.
T-Rex: Most do!!
Utahraptor: Would it help if I started assuming you're bad at stuff all the time?
T-Rex: Yes PLEASE.
T-Rex: If you give me a recipe, I would appreciate instructions that leave out no steps, that assume I'm so incompetent you'd think it's malicious, except for the fact you've never known anyone in life OR IN FICTION to be that insanely bad at ANYTHING. Please. Give me the gift of lowered expectations!
Narrator: LATER:
Off panel: And this is my friend T-Rex, who is a big stupid idiot who doesn't do anything right!
T-Rex: I asked for this but I'm beginning to have regrets! Hiiiiiiiiii
