T-Rex: ...part of becoming truly fluent in a language is ACQUIRING the accent!!

T-Rex: And this is my problem, because I know me some French, but my accent is HORRIBLE. And what's worse - what's maybe inexcusable?? - is that my PARODY French accent, the one I'd use if I was trying to sound as over-the-top French as possible - sounds BETTER than my ACTUAL, really-trying French accent!!

Utahraptor: Are you perhaps a monster, who ALSO hates the French?
T-Rex: No, I love the French!

T-Rex: That's why I'm trying to learn the language!! I just want some, some CULTURAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT that there's a point in language acquisition where your real accent is bad and your PARODY accent is better, but you can't USE it because it feels like you're making fun.
