T-Rex: I knew a puppy once who saw a mirror, and then spent a long time trying to get to the dog on the other side! He really wanted to see that other dog. And when he, heartbroken, couldn't reach him, he did the only thing he could...
T-Rex: ...HE NEVER LOOKED IN A MIRROR AGAIN.
T-Rex: He would be like an actor in front of a camera: he'd look near mirrors, but never AT them, and would never directly acknowledge their presence. If you tried to force him, he'd squirm away. He just decided that mirrors had no place in his life or his world, and to the day he died, he never interacted with one again.
Utahraptor: What's the moral of this story?
T-Rex: Heck man, I don't know!
T-Rex: Is it how the trauma of unreachable puppy stayed with him his whole life? Maybe it's an inspirational story about choosing the world we want to live in? All I know is it's a thing that happened to him, and then to me, and now it's happened to you whether you wanted it to or not.
Banner: NARRATIVES: they happen to you whether you want them to or not
T-Rex: People really like stories, I dunno!!
